      If I had to sum up this book in one sentence, it d be should have been a short story The premise of this book is fairly interesting The page length of this book makes it closer to a novella than a novel, but even so the problem here is that the story would have been tighter and thrilling if it d been shorter Much of the book s issues stem from a lot of treading water I think that Limbaugh was trying to go for the slow gothic novel, but rather than drawing out a delicious tension we have a lot o [...]
