2.5 round upI like the story but there were too little of it The world building was very little and lack quite a few important infos on the narrator s background. The worst thing about this book was that there was no telling when time jump or cut scene All of a sudden the MC was in another area or just wake up in a new place. In the end, there just too little of any of the characters to feel connected to The book felt shallow because there was no depth to get into It was somewhat disappointing sin [...]

1,5 starsI loved Temper very much, so much in fact that I looked this authors other work up and put the upcoming story on my auto buy list The premise sounded very promising, it was set in the same world as Temper and I thought this would be about a misunderstanding, where it was a marriage of convenience at first, but they did come to care about each other s but were not good at showing it Yes, I ve read the part about adding another to their relationship but again I thought this would be about [...]

Sadly, this made no sense at all I m familiar with the world, or at least a little bit familiar from reading Temper , in the Private Dicks Undercover anthology, only just a few days ago That story had a similar style, revealing very little information, but the length of that story allowed us to gather a few clues While this is set into the same world and does include a few of the same characters at least on the periphery , I have no clue what the story I just read was about Something about a guy [...]

Reading this story is like jumping from chapter 4 to 7 to 9 in a 14 chapter book There s no beginning, no end and a lot of confusing stuff between. But if there ever will be a complete book I want to read it.

Disappointed with this book after reading the blurb Seem to jump from one scene to another, not enough detail and was so confusing even at the end of the book.

This story was too damn short It was like someone gave you a crumb of a delicious cake but tells you afterwards that the cake s already eaten I want of these characters and the world they live in You could have made so much of this story so much pages I really like urban fantasy and this reminded me so much of the Dance with the Devil series by Megan Derr which I can t get enough of.There were so many conflicts and I really wished the author would have explored them a little This way they we [...]

2.5 starsI loved Temper and when I saw this story was part of that world I had to get it For a very short read it wasn t too bad There wasn t a lot of world building or most important of all character building The little snippet we got about the characters did make me curious and if the author was to write a separate story for these characters I would be sure to read it Also I was a bit disappointed to see that this story wasn t a monogamous one like Temper was but then again the blurb does ment [...]
