November 13th, 2015 CUE DISAPPOINTED CRYING1.5 to 2 stars, because wow I m crushed. As an ATLA and LOK fan, I was highly excited for this Even preordered it because I thought it was out when it wasn t released yet How horribly wrong I wasThe art made me cringed and I was confused I had the mindset that this would illustrate about the days when Aang trained Tenzin, about Team Avatar all grown up, but alas this is not the case Instead it is an art book mixed with souvenirs like postcards, posters a [...]

Even though I am a huge fan of Avatar The Last Airbender this book is one to keep as a commemorative keepsake I did enjoy that this is Avatar Aang leaving a legacy for his son Tenzin and explaining to him through their eyes the 100 year war Also, Toph I wish they would have given her than just two pages since she does not fail at being unique.Avatar Legacy as a new instalment the graphic do look a bit childish aside from the picture of Team Avatar in the beginning and the cover okay maybe one o [...]

Quick read, no new tales to tell, but I highly recommend as a recap if you haven t spent any time in this universe for a while and want to jump into the comics or watch The Legend of Korra Bryke created this universe with the depth and history I might compare to Middle Earth, The Wizarding World, or Star Wars, so reading Legacy right quick will save you some marathoning of course, marathoning is magnificent, so, your call I bought it because it was a lovely, small thing that lifted my spirits du [...]

Written in the form of a scrap book Aang made for his son Tenzin when he was five , it contains pretty much total spoilers for the original series, and maybe minor spoilers about the Legend of Korra or at least the world in which it s set For fans of the shows, there s not much that s new, but it does make for a fun and kind of sweet keepsake There are also some neat and potentially easy to lose inserts like a comic book and mini poster and so forth And a few letters from Toph, Sokka, and Katara [...]

Hrm I was really hoping for something like a comic with this book, or perhaps like a picture book Something with a bit of plot This is just a summary of the series, with a somewhat deceptive title After all, if you see a book cover of Aang and Tenzin, with the title Legacy, you think we re going to get involvement with Tenzin, but this is basically a scrapbook. If you want to learn about Avatar, fine, but you re not going to learn much than what s in the original series Really you d be better [...]

This is less a novel comic and a collection of information about the Avatar universe It s essentially a scrapbook that Aang contructed for his youngest son Tenzin, the next last Airbender. It has a lot of cool little items like an Earth Kingdom postcard, a Waterbender scroll, a flyer for the Ember Island Players and a lot content that makes it seem like it came straight out of the Avatar universe.I was hoping for a conventional narrative that involved seeing Aang and Tenzin s relationship, but [...]

Nice to re visit the parts of the original series and see Aang s notes I love the artwork and all the little flyers, pamphlets, and postcards that were included in this book.

I am a great fan of Avatar series.I simply love this memento I really could see how Aang could write this to Tenzin.Love it

Extremely disappointing Nothing new and painful to read I did not read it cover to cover.

I am totally ok with the fact that the Gaang grew up and this book is a great collection of small posters and pictures, but Aang seemed almost stale here I know his personality probably evolved with age, but it seemed rigid here.

Years after the end of the Hundred Year War and the events chronicled in Nickelodeon s hit cartoon series Avatar The Last Airbender, Aang puts together a scrapbook of sorts to give to his own son, Tenzin The result is Avatar The Last Airbender Legacy, a book that any and all fans of the show are sure to love This is a collection of all kinds of bits and pieces of lore, including maps, historical facts, knowledge about the different people of the world, and information about how different kinds o [...]

As expected, this is of an Avatar The Last Airbender encyclopedia than a novel However, the premise of the book is that Aang has grown up, married Katara, and had kids, including Tenzin This book is a letter of sorts to Tenzin, explaining the world and sharing memories that Aang and Team Avatar experienced. The artwork in the book is fantastic I wouldn t expect anything less But really, if you ve watched the animated series, there isn t anything new in this book that you don t already know But i [...]

Hmmm I think I hoped for a little I m a big ATLA fan and I m so deep in the story of everyone and every bit that happens in the hole universe It was a cute review of everything that happened through the story, but honey, I have re watched the series a lot of times, I know It would have been nice to know a little of anything between the ending of the comics of ATLA and Korra about Aang and Katara s family, their adults lifes and all that jazz Sometimes the narration was a little of Like it was [...]

A great book for fans old and new, with neat pull out mini posters and post cards from the series However, the writing feels ungenuine The book is a collection of letters written by Aang and Katara, but it feels so plastic for a lack of better words I d say buy it if you re a collector of ATLA, or just getting into it, but otherwise it s nice enough to look through in the book store.

    16. Katryn on said:

I loved this book but I wished there was I feel like there are still a lot of information he missed out, like a lot of their adventures when Team Avatar became adults maybe At the same time, I get why not all of it was mentioned because the comics are still going on Still, I d recommend reading this if you re an ATLA LOK fan It ll make you nostalgic for sure.

I m sure if I was a younger fan of avatar I would have loved this book But since I m older a book that s basically just a rehash of the series isn t all that appealing Some of the graphics were nice some were not I love the inserts it gives me something to framed and but in my wall Not a total waste of money but something I wish I had paid WAY less for.

Basically a summary of the events of the Last Airbender series The only good thing about this book is the cover art.

This is a very basic recap of the series I liked the two pictures of the gang as adults, but the rest was pretty skippable.
