It has been some time since I read this book I liked being transported back to a time of pioneering in Tasmania and South Africa Isabel Dick was born in the 19th century and would have had first hand or second hand knowledge of that time I found this book after reading Wild Orchard and have one or two other books by the author on my to read list I remember the book as being well written and good story.
