Still reeling in the aftermath of the revelation of Chase s true identity, Calla is hurt and lonely and trying very, very hard to move on and forget all about him to just focus on her guardian training Unfortunately, easier said than done Especially when Vi Ryn are pestering her for information about him Especially when faeries start getting sick with a mysterious illness, and she suspects Chase s involvement Especially when she herself is framed for causing the illness and she suddenly finds he [...]

Discovering Chase s secret was only the beginning for Calla Larkenwood in Rachel Morgan s A Faerie s Revenge Calla shows a lot of growth through all she faces in this book The dialogue between Calla and her Guardian friends often had me laughing Certain instances in this book brought me to tears, and there is this really swoonworthy scene, but you ll have to read it for yourself A Faerie s Revenge keeps the action high, the pace moving swiftly, and feels like a solid bridge between not only A Fa [...]

3.5 stars I wanted it to be four, but the writing was so uneven, fluctuating between awkwardly constructed dialogue among characters in situations that were so predictable as to almost be clich , and the really imaginative and captivating imagery and storyline that I ve come to expect from this author I still highly recommend this series, though, despite the shortcomings of this most recent installment.

If there is anything bad I can say about this book is that I feel so bad for Calla She just can t seem to catch a break Also, I m glad I am close to the end because don t know if my heart can handle the emotional roller coaster and cliff hangers for much longer All that being said, it was so good PS can we just talk about how the line about the 100 year old vampire being socially acceptable was about the greatest line ever
