5 Words Family, fear, love, acceptance, passion So sweet. This was another great, quick read in the Cherry Pie Island series But it was very different from the first book It s just as heart warming and sweet and has that same can t put down readability but the characters really stand out.I liked that the characters from the first book weren t forgotten about and still featured in some way.As I read on in this series it becomes obvious that this book isn t so much about the characters, and that i [...]

The second Cherry Pie Island book follows Anna s friend Holly who is pregnant from a one night romance with her childhood crush Not ideal, right Especially if said childhood crush is annoyingly stubborn and you are afraid of letting yourself fall in love The fact that the book is mostly set in France also doesn t do it any harm. This one is the sequel to Anna s story from book one But it can easily be read as a stand alone book As with all Jenny Oliver books I ve read so far, I can only praise th [...]

This is the second in the Cherry Pie Island series, although it is primarily set in France It takes up another of the characters from the first book as she deals with an unplanned pregnancy by a childhood friend s brother It s light, it s fluffy, it s a little too good to be true, but it s a fun fantasy I agree with other reviewers who said this could easily have been combined with the first in the series though.

I loved visiting Cherry Pie Island a few months ago so I knew it was time to revisit, and what better reason than to catch up with the characters Its a sugar sweet quick read and a perfect pit stop between books This time we follow Holly who is having to deal with a pregnancy she hadn t planned to a gent who shes believes has no intention of sticking around. When her friend Emily springs it on her that they want her ice cream van for her mothers wedding in france and that would require a roadtrip [...]

I know you should never judge a book by its cover But this cover is gorgeous and the book is just as lovely This book is no 2 in the cherry pie island series It follows the story of Holly who we found out was pregnant in the first book Holly is having Wilfs baby but is refusing to tell him as she thinks he is a cad, won t be interested and will think she is after his money Emily Hollys friend and Wilfa sister drops the bomb shell on Wilf and invites Holly to her mums wedding in France with her i [...]

I really enjoyed this second installment in Jenny Oliver s Cherry Pie Island series This tells the story of Holly accidentally pregnant and trying to work out where her life is heading.Once again, I thought that there was a lot of plot crammed into this and it worked well, although not quite as well as it did in part one view spoiler I thought we needed a heart to heart between Holly and Wilf where she explains her issues about her mum and security to make everthing really click but I was happy [...]

The 2nd book in The Cherry Pie Island series Enjoyable easy read but for me there was something lacking in this book and I didn t enjoy it quite as much as the 1st Holly is persuaded to take her vintage ice cream van and drive it with Wilf, for his mothers wedding in France All very enjoyable, the trip has it s funny moments and the is a lovely feeling of the warmth of France that comes through the book I did feel that as the ice cream van hadn t been driven for such a long time, it was a bit fa [...]
