Free on This short book was so sweet I enjoyed it The story was very beautiful, but the last chapter was way to rushed I would have liked to read a little bit about the relationship of Sam and Holly But I could feel the Christmas spirit and this is the most important Favorite quotes Christmas trees should be authentic, plucked from actual forests rather than hauled down from the attic and smelling like mothballs and grandmas He has a face that can launch a million daydreams and the spirit of a [...]

Cute Christmas novella, although it lacked final editing a few sentences stopped in the middle, and quite a few punctuation marks were missing Overall I really enjoyed the adorable story, though

When I heard that Miss Christmas was being made into a Hallmark movie, I knew I wanted to read the book first I finished reading it somewhat disappointed. While Miss Christmas has an interesting premise, there is zero chemistry between Holly and Sam In fact, when Holly impulsively kisses Sam about 3 4 of the way through the novella, my first thought was, Why did she even want to do that Also, Joe, the nine year old whose letter brings Holly to the tree in the first place, speaks like he s an adul [...]

One day, I d love to go to New York City during the holidays and see the huge tree at Rockefeller Center I ve seen pictures of it and have seen it on tv, but I m sure it s much glorious in person I ve never really given much thought about where they find a tree of that size each year and how they determine the perfect tree, but this story gave a few insights to that and was very interesting.Holly is a tree girl and her job is to search the country for the perfect tree for each Christmas Having [...]

Really enjoyed this one Holly, a.k.a Miss Christmas, is responsible for choosing the Rockefeller Christmas tree each year, a job so all consuming that it s affected her social life to the point where she barely has one, but this year, a letter from a young boy leads Holly not only to the perfect tree, but possibly her perfect guy as well There are some errors in the text, words misplaced or omitted here and there, but it s easy to fill in those blanks and the story s entertaining enough that the [...]

I confess that I have never spent even a second of my life thinking about what goes into choosing the Rockefeller Christmas tree In that sense, this book was eye opening Most of it takes place in July not very Christmasy , when Holly meets a farm family with the perfect tree and tries to convince them to donate it.Holly was pretty nice, a little pushy, and she butts heads with Sam, the cute guy who doesn t want to see the tree cut down The problem with this book was, I was pretty much on Sam s s [...]

Best Christmas story I ve read in agesI can totally understand why she s got Hallmark movie plans for this one Novellas can be tricky, often dropping the ball on character development or feeling rushed Not this one It plays out beautifully like a movie, drawing the reader into its world from the start It s funny, sweet, emotional, and entertaining You can t help falling in love with this family right along side Holly Can t wait to see the movie version

Cute but predictable read The overall story was nicely written but all the mentions of hashtag this and hashtag that really got on my nerves Also the pop culture references are really going to date this and, in light of what has happened to Matt Lauer recently, should probably be edited out of the story altogether.

This was a pretty good story about a workaholic woman who is obsessed with finding the right tree for the Rockefeller Center each year and a family who is adjusting to the loss of its matriarch earlier in the year Being a holiday story of course it had a happy ending a there was a touch of romance It was lighthearted but warm.
